DAO Services
Decentralised Autonomous Organisations (DAOs) were the future.
Now they are here – and they are here to stay. But how can DAOs interact with traditional legal infrastructure (enter into contracts, own property etc) without a proper legal wrapper? And how can this legal wrapper be compliant with the ethos of the DAO itself?

Real World Assets
Projects purporting to offer real world assets (RWA) linked to on-chain assets have existed from the early days of blockchain technology.
Unfortunately most “RWA-backed” projects do not properly bridge between blockchain and legal infrastructure in order to provide true token-linked proprietary rights to token holders.
The inability to construct such a ‘bridge’ is an obstacle to both Web3 and TradFi adoption.
We assist sponsors of such projects in creating structures which are legally robust, credibly transparent and bankruptcy remote that can legitimately deliver on the promise of tokenised RWA.
Custody
Self-custody is undoubtedly the most secure form of custody.
We recognise however that it is almost necessary in a functioning economy for asset pooling or title transfer into a third party for specific purposes.
We advise Web3 participants in engineering custody structures which are secure from both a legal and blockchain perspective and provide safeguards against custodian misconduct.
We also provide custodian services in segregated and bankruptcy remote structures to hold assets strictly in accordance with the terms of engagement.
Caveat Emptor
It is no secret that many Web3 projects are vapourware built solely on marketing.
How do you know that a DAO which is offering you ‘risk-free’ exposures to a niche arbitrage strategy is legitimate? Does a project which purports to give you ‘ownership rights’ in a piece of real estate actually give you enforceable proprietary rights? When you invest money in a promising new Web3 business via a SAFT – does it actually have to issue a useful token?
